Need to make a gift for someone but you are out of clay? Just make cornstarch dough! It is made out of simple ingredients and is easy to use!

What you need:

Baking soda

Water

Cornstarch

1. First up you are going to want to get a bowl and put some baking soda in it. Excact measurments aren't needed.

*Moderation is the Key!!!!

2. Now put about as much cornstarch as you did baking soda in the same bowl.

3. Add about a tablespoon of water. If your dough still looks crumbly, then add a little more water.

4. Next, put your mixture in the microwave for 15-23 seconds.

*Do not put your mixture in a paper bowl then microwave, for that may cause a fire!!!

5. Then, If you see little bubbles in your dough thats good. If you dont see that, I would put it back in the microwave for about 8 more seconds.

6. Now stir your dough until it is cool enough to toutch.

7. Once it is cool, knead it until it has the consistensy of playdough. If it feels to crumbly, add A VERY TINY AMOUNT of water to your fingertips and continue kneading.

8. After that, your dough is ready to shape and be played with.

9. For drying, you can put it in the oven. It depends on how big the object is for the temprature. You could always air-dry your dough but it may take several hours.

10. This dough is edible but I would not recomend eating it!! ENJOY!:)
